Center for Community Resources is offering Prevention and Education in HIV and Improving good decision making skills. The choices that you regret cannot be changed, but Center for Community Resources is here to help you identify behaviors that led to poor decision making and ways to make better decisions in the future.

 

CCR provides the following opportunities on a regular basis:

 

Video Showings related to informational health including topics such as: Hepatitis, HIV and other communicable diseases. Questions will be entertained briefly after the video.

 

Individual Counseling will be available to discuss the following topics:

  • Assessing Past Risky Behaviors such as intravenous drug usage and unprotected sex.

  • Developing good decision making skills

  • Information and referral to community resources

Groups will be held related to the following topics:

  • Identifying risky behaviors

  • Alternative decision making skills

  • Healthy relationships

  • Self esteem building

  • Community resources to address needs

Housing Assistance which includes information and referral for housing and advocacy for individuals infected with HIV/AIDS.

 

Learn More Services are free and CCR  will also coordinate FREE HIV Testing in the Butler Community.
