Mental Health Service Coordination
CCR’s Mental Health Base Service Unit is a professional service
which links consumers and families to various resources and
requested services within the community. Service Coordinators offer
information and facilitate entry into therapeutic and support
services, and ensure special populations’ needs are being addressed
within the Mental Health System. Special populations served include
the following:
§
people who are referred to or who are receiving treatment at state
mental health facilities
§
adolescents who are residents of
Butler
County and are receiving treatment at residential treatment
facilities
§
people discharged from psychiatric units who need linked to mental
health services
§
people released from incarceration who need linked to mental health
services
§
people involved with multiple systems or who have special issues
that need careful consideration and administrative case management.
Crisis Intervention Services
As part of the Base Service Unit, Crisis Intervention serves all of
Butler
County. This
service provides intervention, screening, counseling, information,
and referral services for people and families experiencing a crisis
related to behavioral health issues. Crisis services include: 24
hour a day, 7 day a week toll-free telephone hotline; walk-in
service during regular weekday business hours; and mobile service
from 8:00am - midnight Monday through Saturday. The toll-free Crisis
Number is 1-800-292-3866.
