Utility Assistance (UIPOC)

Utility Integrated Point of Contact (UIPOC) is an information and referral hotline to assist Butler County residents in meeting their home heating and energy needs. The UIPOC acts as a fund manager for the many governmental, private, and charitable funds that are available to address energy and related needs. The UIPOC Program is managed through the Department of Community Outreach and is supported, inpart through the AmeriCorps Program. The UIPOC represents a broad array of community resources and acts in collaboration within the community to support and protect citizens from energy and economic related crises.

Services are a 24/7 Information and Referral Hotline. Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, UIPOC staff will receive and address utility and related crisis calls. Weekends and evenings, calls are received either by Crisis or via and electronic answering machine with a 24-48 hour response-to-call return policy.
