Utility Assistance
(UIPOC)
Utility Integrated Point
of Contact (UIPOC) is an information and referral hotline to assist
Butler County residents in meeting their home heating and energy
needs. The UIPOC acts as a fund manager for the many governmental,
private, and charitable funds that are available to address energy
and related needs. The UIPOC Program is managed through the
Department of Community Outreach and is supported, inpart through
the AmeriCorps Program. The UIPOC represents a broad array of
community resources and acts in collaboration within the community
to support and protect citizens from energy and economic related
crises.
Services are a
24/7 Information and Referral Hotline. Monday through Friday, 8:30am
- 4:30pm, UIPOC staff will receive and address utility and related
crisis calls. Weekends and evenings, calls are received either by
Crisis or via and electronic answering machine with a 24-48 hour
response-to-call return policy.
