Do you think your infant or toddler isn’t progressing as quickly as other children the same age? Has a pediatrician recommended your child be evaluated?
Early Intervention services are family centered and based on families strengths and needs so that caregivers can help their child grow and develop. We can coordinate a developmental evaluation for your child who is birth to three years of age.
The team will evaluate 5 areas of development: large and fine motor, language, cognitive, self-help and social skills.
If your child is eligible, our Service Coordinators can link you to supports and services that are at no cost to you and provided in your home or anywhere your child normally goes.
Some early intervention service options are:
- Special Instruction
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Nutrition Services
- Vision and Hearing Services
Service Coordinators also make referrals to community and social service agencies such as childcare centers, Head Start programs, free community events, and continued services after the age of three.
