ALTOONA, Pa. – The Center for Community Resources (CCR) has started serving clients in Blair County. CCR has been providing coordination of services for 15 years in western Pennsylvania. They expanded services into Blair County December 2017, offering residents a local choice for supports and service coordination.
The expansion efforts reinforce CCR’s mission, which is to make a positive difference in everyday lives by connecting people to a network of supports and services essential for actively learning, working, and living in the community. “The goal is to be a viable resource for the community,” said Michael P. Robb, Executive Director of CCR. “Our mission is to make a positive difference in everyday lives and we look forward to providing this type of service to the people of Blair County.”
The organization is an integrated point of contact working in collaboration with other human service agencies to identify needs in the community and effectively assist those seeking help. CCR is able to coordinate supports and services for intellectual disabilities, aging, Autism, and physical disabilities throughout Blair County.
CCR can locate, coordinate, and monitor services for individuals. Services are free and confidential. CCR is located at 1331 12th Avenue, Suite 106, Altoona Pa. 16601. For more information, or to make a referral, call 814-656-3855.
