Base Service Unit
CCR's BSU program assists individuals who are not insured or underinsured in seeking mental health services. A referral from the BSU is necessary to begin receiving county-funded mental health services.
An assessment will be completed to ensure you are provided with an unbiased choice of accessible and appropriate services.
This service is available to all residents of Clarion County, individuals may call the BSU at any time to receive a referral.
What to Expect
A Staff Member will:
Greet you in-person or by phone.
Perform an intake to determine your areas of need.
Provide you with appropriate referrals and linkages.
Schedule and conduct an appointment to complete paperwork, if necessary.
Provide scheduled follows ups to ensure referrals and linkages were successful.

Complete comprehensive mental health assessment.
Provider choice.
Referrals and linkages to services.
Administrative supports.
Maximum liability determination.
BSU services are free and confidential.
