The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is a free tax preparation program for households earning less than $60,000 in gross annual income. CCR's VITA team specializes in ensuring your state and federal taxes are accurately prepared. VITA can also provide financial literacy and resource connections to help you plan for the future.

More About VITA:

  • The Staff will communicate to you a list of documents you must bring to your appointment.

    • The IRS is moving away from paper checks, so make sure you bring a cancelled check or your bank account number and routing number.

  • You must arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment to complete all necessary paperwork.

  • Your appointment will be 60 minutes long.

  • All tax preparation functions will be completed during your appointment.

  • All tax returns are reviewed after completion and prior to submission.
