What is Crisis Residential?
The Crisis Residential program at the Northeast Regional Crisis Stabilization Center serves individuals experiencing a mental health crisis who do not require hospitalization. The program provides short-term, structured support in a safe and recovery-focused environment designed to help individuals stabilize and begin the recovery process.
The facility is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals who provide care and support throughout each guest’s stay.

Individuals 18 years of age and older
Residents of Wayne, Pike, Monroe, Lackawanna, and Susquehanna Counties
Individuals experiencing a mental health crisis that does not require hospitalization

Care consists of a short term stay lasting up to 5 days. Additional days can be added when clinically-appropriate.

Individuals will receive support to address an immediate mental health crisis and help to prepare them for after their stay.
During their stay, individuals can expect:
Crisis stabilization and risk assessment.
Development of an individualized care plan.
A recovery-oriented environment that promotes comfort and safety.

A range of mental health services are utilized, including:
Individual and group counseling utilizing recovery principals.
Medication management.
Referral and follow-up with other service providers as needed.
